are competing in a nhl rookie tournament in september 8-12.

Schira is competing for the La Kings, and Berdnhardt is on the San Jose roster, along with many other WHL players.

When did Schira get a call from the Kings? I heard about Bernhardt a while ago, but Schira is news to me...anyway good luck to both..theres two kids that are finally getting some recognition for their great talent. :thumb:

I agree that these guys are good players, getting better even. Ths rookie camp tournament thing is impressive. There are some guys on those lists that are 24-25 years old. It should give them (and other youngsters) the idea of what it would be like to play against the older more experienced guys and be ready to come back to Regina and the Dub and dominate :laugh: or at least be better players for it.
