Saskatoon, SK: Training Camp 2006 Rookie ice sessions begin Thursday August 31st at 8:00am at the Martensville Arena. Main camp opens Saturday, September 2nd with the first ice session beginning at 6:00pm at the Martensville Arena. Following the club’s Intra-squad game on September 5th the team will resume regular practices at Credit Union Centre.
Blue & White Game The Blades Annual Blue & White Intra-squad game will be played Tuesday September 5th at 7:00pm at The Martensville Arena. Members of the Saskatoon Media will be testing their coaching abilities. The game will feature the following celebrity coaches on the benches: CJWW’s Moo Crew of Steve Shannon and Rob Kitter will face off against the Rawlco Radios and Rock 102’s Mark Loshack. Tickets for the Game can be purchased at the door for just $5 for all Adults, Seniors, Students and Children. A great new line of Blades merchandise and souvenirs will be available.
Ice Breaker Tournament The Blades will be participating in the Credit Union Centre Ice Breaker Pre-Season Tournament September 8th, 9th and 10th at Credit Union Centre. Additional teams participating in this years event include the Regina Pats, Prince Albert Raiders and Prince George Cougars. The Blades will be the feature game Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 6:00pm. Tickets are available at the Credit Union Centre Ticketmaster Outlet or by calling 938.7800. Tickets are just $7 for adults, $5 for senior and students and only $3 for children.
Preseason Games The Blades play host to the Prince Albert Raiders in pre-season action September 16th at Credit Union Centre. Game time is 7:05pm. Individual game tickets for all preseason games Wednesday August 30th. Game tickets can be purchased by calling the Blades Ticket Hotline at 938.7800. A great new line of Blades merchandise and souvenirs will be available. Tickets for the September 16th pre-season game are just $8.25 for Adults/Seniors and Students and $4.25 for children. The Blades pre-season schedule also includes visits to Regina on September 13th at 7:00PM and to the Prince Albert Raiders on September 15th at 7:30PM. All Saskatoon Blades pre-season games can be heard live on Hot 93fm with the exception of the Prince George Ice Breaker Contest.

The Game is sponsored by the following Blades Backers: CTV Saskatoon, Hot 93FM and The Star Phoenix. The event will feature a pre-game parking lot BBQ, interactive fun and games for the young and old, spectacular player introductions, entertainment provided by the band Deep Dark Woods plus much, much more. Individual game tickets go on-sale Tuesday September 12th, Group Tickets can be purchased by calling the Blades Ticket Team at 306.975.8844.
I would like to go to the Blue and White game,but snce it is in Martensville I will have to find someone to go with because I have no other way of getting there. Other than that I will be at the Ice Breaker Tournament(all 3 games that the Blades play) Duh!!!
