The Blades will be heading into the 06-07 season with a very new look to the roster this year. Gone will be the high flying, risk taking offence of the past and in comes the new, gritty, crash and bang team that Molleken has had in the 90's with the Blades. Saskatoon will boast a very good, veteran defense as it stands now with Cole, Schultz, Logan, Ward, Funk, Panchyson and euro pick and offensive dynamo Bohdan Visnak. The offense will be young and led by one of the league's most talented players in Devon Setoguchi. Justin McCrae should be ready for prime time as an 18 yr old and players like Colton Gillies and Blair MaCauley along with Rostislav Konecny should produce enough for the young squad.
