Season Ticket Holders Get First Choice at Expansion Seats

Current season ticket holders will receive first option for all new seats in the new and improved Centennial Civic Centre. The City of Swift Current approved the facility expansion and upgrade yesterday and plan to have the project completed for the 2007/08 season. The project includes new seating in a wrap around on the east end of the facility, as well as, new private suites.
“We want to make sure that our current season ticket holders have the first opportunity to move to the new locations in the building if they so choose,” commented Broncos Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations Elden Moberg. “We won’t be doing anything on this immediately because plans still need to be put in place for a final seating arrangement, however, we’ll let everyone know once more details are confirmed.”
“Our organization is extremely excited about the upgrade to the facility. It will provide fans with more quality seating locations from which to view the game. We’ve always felt that’s hurt us in the past, but it won’t be an excuse any longer.”
Not only will the new seats be free of obstructions such as penalty boxes and players’ benches, they will also offer a new vantage point/hockey experience to Broncos fans.
The Hockey Club is still in a season ticket push to try to reach last year’s total of 1399 season ticket purchases. The club is currently 400 season tickets short of last year’s total with only 4 weeks to the opening of the regular season. A benchmark of at least 1300 season tickets is important for the Hockey Club’s financial success this season.
Hockey fans in Swift Current and area are encouraged to stop by or call the Broncos Office for more ticket information. The Broncos Office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00, plus weekend game days.
