Season Premiere September 5th!!

Fresh off of our summer break we are pleased to announce that Dean Millard and Guy Flaming are back and ready to launch The Pipeline Show's 2nd season!

We're kicking off the season with a WHL flavour as we'll speak with Edmonton Oilers President Patrick LaForge about the new junior franchise headed this way in 2007-08. We'll also address the current plight of the Oilers' farm system and find out exactly why the NHL club is holding training camp in Grande Prairie and Leduc.

Rob Vanstone of the Regina Leader Post and The Hockey News will help us dissect the WHL this year. Which teams are headed for the top of the standings, which players are going to make noise and maybe we'll even make some bold predictions why'll we're at it.

The WHL theme continues into the back half of the show when we'll be joined by former NHL head coach and current bench boss of the Everett Silvertips Kevin Constantine. The Silvertips have a ton of talent on their roster, some drafted already and some getting ready to make a splash in 2006-07.

With time permitting, You'll hear a feature on Oiler prospect Rob Schremp recorded prior to an afternoon practice session at Clare Drake Arena n the campus of the University of Alberta. How has Schremp prepared during the offseason, how does he feel heading into Oiler camp and what happens if he is sent to the farm?

All this and it's only week #1!

I have never listened to the show but it should be an interesting listen to especially in regards to the new expansion team.

They are also supposed to be talking about the Trevor Lewis situation as well, for those that are interested.
