Pats Change Blue/White Date
September 4th, 2006
Regina Saskatchewan: Due to injuries and the departure of players for NHL Camps, the Regina Pats have changed the date for the Annual Blue/ White Game. The game which was originally to be held in Lumsden on Wednesday September 6th @ 7:00pm will now be held on Tuesday September 5th in Lumsden beginning at 7:00pm.
“We have had a couple of injuries and that coupled with having a smaller camp and the early departure of some of our players for NHL Camps has led us to make this decision. While we understand the short notice will cause some inconvenience for our fans we felt that this was better decision than canceling the game. All of the proceeds from this game go towards the Lumsden Minor Hockey Program and as an organization we did not feel comfortable with depriving their program with these important funds.” Commented Pats General Manager Brent Parker
The Pats will hold a scrimmage tonight at 7:00pm at the Lumsden Arena.
All Training Camp sessions are open to the public.
