I had a nice chat with Spencer between periods tonight and he has a 1st degree sprain/separation of the right shoulder. It occurred on a regular body check during the Lethbridge game. He will resume skating on Tuesday but is on the 7-10 day injury list. He was truly upset as having to miss 1/2 the game in his home town.

The word out is that Garret' stick caught along the boards as he was preparing to deliver a check and it snapped and the shaft lodged against his thigh and the impact snapped his femur in 3 places
