Flames return six players to junior clubs
Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the following six players have been assigned to their designated junior clubs.

Defencemen:
Brad Cole – Saskatoon (WHL)
Jordan Henry – Red Deer (WHL)
Forwards:
John Armstrong – Plymouth (OHL)
Hugo Carpentier – Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL)
Devin Didiomete – Sudbury (OHL)
Juuso Puustinen – Kamloops (WHL)

The Flames now have 35 players remaining in rookie camp: five goalies, 10 defenseman and 20 forwards.

its great to see him come back, hes a huge solid defender and will likely add some ability to this team like he did last year when he came over from the Ice

there, not that it comes as a surprise. Sutter likes gritty guys though and Brad is one of those guys so him ending up somewhere in the Flames system did enter the back of my mind.

Schulz should be back to seeing how he's a invitee to Oilers camp and the Oilers are restricted to the # of players they can leave in the AHL due to them not having their own AHL team which is odd to say the least so he should be back.

with the return of cole and probably schulz the defense will be good. holtby's preseason play to date shows he should be solid between the pipes. sounds like the effort and team unity are solid. if both vets come back molleken can turn his attention to goal scoring and special teams play.

that word right there i think it was special teams.......that is exaclty what they need to work on....on saterday they were what 1-11 on the pp terrible
