That is a lot nicer. I have to agree with Kristi as well. It should link to the Chiefs' roster page. Spokane's logo is sooo much easier on the eyes... :thumb:

all of last years O/A are there. as well as players who were cut

That would be because it is stats for the 05-06 season. There are no 'official' stats yet for this year's teams.

I was just talking the layout not the actual information or lack thereof.

Figure we give the whl.ca site enough backlash for its lousy appearance we should compliment them when they do something that looks good.

The silvertip (grizzly) bear used to inhabit the nearby North Cascade mountains. You might also notice that there is an outline of the mountains on the Tips jerseys.

They still have some kinks to work out but it looks great.

I was looking at rosters and it is very slow when trying to do that but i can only assume it will get better as time goes on

Just checked through a couple of rosters on the site.
speed was quite acceptible. At least the Bronco roster is current, I don't know about other team rosters.

I agree. It doesn't really look that great with the old standings page and stuff like that and it takes a little too long to load each page completely. But other than that, I have to say great job to the WHL.

I think overall it looks great. I agree with the stats pages tho, they need to be color coordinated with the rest of the site. I don't have any trouble with the speed in which the pages load, its quick. I also like the standings on the homepage. One thing I would have liked is for them to post pre-season team standings with gp, gf, ga, PP, pk etc. Just so we can get a better idea of how the clubs are doing with the new rules, rookies etc.

I think they are adding as they go. Chilliwack is in some places and strangley enough not in others.

A little patience I think as re-tooling the whole website is a lot of work.

On another note they have added in downloads, and the first set is up now, team wallpapers.

That site takes forever to load.Every time I click on something,its a 30 second wait to load.For instance the standings or archived standings.

that could be due to your Font size. Right click your main screen - click propeties - click appearance - under font size click normal. Thats my only idea. :thumb:

The WHL site has listed suspensions in the transaction area for years. Why they do it that way is anyones guess, I suppose they do it because they don't want to create a suspension area.

Anyone else having problems getting game updates right now? Appears as though they haven't touched the site since around 6:30 pacific.
