The Medicine Hat Tigers overcame a 4-1 third period deficit and scored 2 goals with only 16 seconds left in regulation to force overtime during Red Deer's final preseason game of the season in Carstairs Saturday.

The Tigers come-back was complete when Tyler Innis scored an OT goal on the powerplay to win 5-4.

The Rebels had a pair from Devon LeBlanc with singles credited to Brandon Sutter and Karey Pieper. Red Deer scored twice on the powerplay and once, short-handed.

James reimer went the distance for Red Deer in net. Obviuosly, The Rebels and Tigers are still adjusting to the "new rules Western League" with 33 minor penalties called during the game.

The Rebels will re-group this week with practices and final team meetings before beginning the 2006-07 season on the road Friday in Calgary against the Hitmen. Saturday night the Rebels kick off their home shedule against Calgary at 7:30 at the ENMAX Centrium.
