He came off the bench to jump Lance Redden after Redden hammered someone on Seattle.

Redden didn't hammer a Seattle player, he gave him a 'slewfoot' or knee. A deliberate attemp to injur a player MUST be answered, and not just by the ref/league. Your enforcers must respond in defense of their teammates, otherwise you invite this to happen again. Klinkhammer screwed up by coming off the bench. He should've waited until he was on the ice at the same time as Redden, and THEN beat he crap out of him.
