In his glorious homecoming to the PC, after leading the time in scoring in their championship year, he comes back in game 2 to sell 50/50 to an empty arena.

UBC Thunderbirds were running the 50/50 draw last night, so the players were there doing it.

mmm...i meant thats what happens on Tuesday nights...small crowds...im not sure why I added a question mark, it made sense in my head.

Yeah, they should have had the T-Birds there selling on Friday if they wanted to show off Bartley and the other T-Birds. The PC is going to be packed cause it is a weekend and fans coming in from the Whack.

ohh now it makes sense why all the sellers looked to be university age -- none of them made anyone aware that they were from UBC.. I probably would have bought a 50/50.

I was kinda confused last night as there were no announcements I heard that said who the 50/50 went to and they usually do that.

I think they did announce it... I bought mine from the guy with the bartley jersey on after he pulled it up and he had a UBC hockey t-shirt on. I originally wasn't going to buy cause they weren't little kids haha

and I believe the T-birds have a game on friday.

They announced it in the PC near the end of the 2nd, and they had Siebel (sp?) with Bill as the second intermission interview on MOJO.

^ didn't hear it apparently -- but I think it would have been good for them to have worn their T-Bird jerseys when they were selling 50/50 -- but m'eh no big deal regardless

The guy with the #19 Bartley jersey was Seibel. They were selling the tickets together. They said they have a pre-season tournament in Edmonton this weekend. They were looking forward to the plane in place of the bus! Seemed to me like they were having a great time!
