Broncos Still Searching for First Home Win

The Broncos continue to look for their first home win of the 2006/07 season after losing Friday night against the Medicine Hat Tigers at home in the Centennial Civic Centre.

The Tigers jumped out to a 2-0 lead and never looked back thanks to goals from former Bronco Jerrid Sauer (PP) and Daine Todd (SH). Tyler Ennis and Trevor Glass added assists for the Tigers. Dale Weise responded for the Broncos in the 2nd period with the assists going to Paul Postma and Michael Wilson. Blaine Neufeld stopped 21 of 22 Broncos shots for the Tigers while Kyle Moir played strong for the Broncos, stopping 37 of the Tigers 39 shots. The Broncos were 1 for 11 on the power play while the Tigers were 1 for 13. A total of 1,938 fans took in the action at the CCC.
