Brett Robertson Named WHL Player Of The Week

CALGARY, AB - The WHL Player of the Week is forward Brett Robertson of the Prince George Cougars. Robertson earned player of the week honours by scoring three goals and nine points including a power-play goal in the first four games to begin the 2006-07 Western Hockey League Regular Season.

On Friday, September 22nd, Robertson scored a goal and added three assists in a 4-2 Cougars win over the Seattle Thunderbirds.

On Saturday, Septemer 23rd, Robertson chipped in a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss to the Thunderbirds.

On Saturday, September 30th, Robertson paced the Cougars with a goal and two assists in a 5-3 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins.

Robertson, a 20-year-old native of Strathmore, Alberta is a free agent.

Honorable mention goes to Martin Hanzal of the Red Deer Rebels.
