KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans, along with Haywire Farms, LLC., are proud to announce that the Americans logo will be the featured design for this year's corn maze.

The maze, located at 3280 South Gum Street in Kennewick, is the product of over 30 hours of layout and labor hours.

"We started the process on August 10th and the corn should be around 7 ft. by the time we open," said Phil Schmitt, owner of Haywire Farms. "This is probably one of the most complex mazes we have done...it took two phases over 9 1/2 acres of land. We like using sports logos and the Americans' just seemed like a no-brainer."

"When the opportunity presented itself to be apart of the Haywire Farms' Corn Maize, we simply could not pass it up," said Americans Sr. Vice President of Business Operations and CMO, Brian Sandy. "The Corn Maize is a long standing tradition in the Tri-Cities community and we are thrilled to be this year's centerpiece."

This year's maze will also feature several fun and exciting activities for those of all ages, including hayrides, campfires, PVC slides, a pumpkin patch and the infamous corn cannon. The Corn Maize will open on October 6th and run through November 12.

Hours of operation are:
* Monday -- Closed,
* Tuesday-Thursday -- 4-9 PM,
* Friday -- 4-10 PM,
* Saturday -- 10 AM-10 PM,
* Sunday -- 1-5 PM.

As part of their partnership, the Americans and Haywire Farms will be providing vouchers for free admittance to the Maize to the first 500 fans that come through the Toyota Center turnstiles on Saturday, October 21 when the Tri-City Americans take on the Prince George Cougars.
