Looks like Thomson is no longer with the team. Previously, he was listed on the WHL website as a forward wearing #25. PA now has 14 forwards, 8 d, and 3 goaltenders.

As a fan I didnt think Riel Thomson was going to stick around all year. He is a great aboriginal hockey player and La Ronge will welcome him back with open arms! Good luck to Thomson and the Icewolves this season.

i thought he would be good to stick around. could be a useful utility player, and a scrapper i had hoped they would keep him

im dissapointed that they let him go i thought he did everything asked of him. right now he looks alot better than palazzo

Thomson has 3 points and 64 PIM's in 6 games in the SJHL.

talking to a buddy who knows him he was really excited to stay and play in PA he thaugh he was in the clear bout the cuts.

Dissapointed bout him going back down hopefully he can come back up

perhaps he will be brought back up if some moves are made
