Harding sent to the AHL

Looks as though Josh will be starting the season in the AHL with the Houston Aeros. Was beat out of the back-up spot by Niklas Backstrom...

Just a bit of digging around found that Harding received a groin injury which must have hampered his progress... leading to his demotion.

Harding injured his groin during practice on Thursday, September 28, and missed the team's final two preseason games. He did not practice with the team on Monday, and his status for the season opener is uncertain as of Monday afternoon.

Harding will return once his inury heals up. He is a better goaltender than Backstrom is anyways. Josh will be back before you know it.
