Per the Blazers website...

KAMLOOPS, BC – Today the Kamloops Blazers completed yesterday’s trade with Portland which saw the Blazers acquire 19-year-old goaltender Dustin Butler from the Winterhawks.

17-year-old goaltender Kurt Kramer, who was originally traded to Portland along with a 5th round selection in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft, has retired from hockey and therefore will not be reporting to the Winterhawks.

As a result, the Blazers acquired 17-year-old goaltender Chris Ward from the Everett Silvertips for a 6th round pick in the 2007 Bantam Draft, then moved his rights to Portland to complete the Butler trade.

Ward started the 06-07 season with Winnipeg South of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

In Camp Ward was very impressive, should be a nice addition to your team. Didn't get a shot due to the love affair with Espo to have him backup Irving...
