I'll go with some obvious ones like Joe Sakic(Broncos), or Scott Niedermayer(blazers).

Any other big names? I cant remember much off the top of my head right now.

There's been quite a few to come out of the dub.

Darcy Tucker
Daryl Sydor
Brendan Morrow
Ray Whitney
Scott Gomez
Olaf Kolzig
Scott Hannan
Patrick Marleau
Bryan McCabe
Marian Hossa
Adam Deadmarsh (a shame he got hurt so much)
Daymond Langkow

That's not even close to everyone, but those are a few good ones that I could quickly name. These guys may not be the best ever, but they all have had long, productive careers.

To answer your question as others skirt around it. BURNABY JOE SAKIC. I think the player category was the question.. With all due respects to Lanny, Wendal, Madano....who has/ is still playing that can match his points, Stanley Cups, Olympic Gold medals/appearances etc. He should have been a Canuck not an Avalanche (sorry Nordiques)

Lanny Macdonald, Bobby Clark, Theoren Fleury, Clark Gillies, Bryan Trottier, Tiger Williams, Jarome Iginla, Mark Recchi, Cam Neely....

The best was probably Bobby Clarke
Lots of honourable mentions including Sakic, Lanny, Leach, Fuhr, Rogers, Fleury, Modano, Neely.
And if you are talking strictly WHL and not professional accomplishment than you are talking Sobchuck, CHipperfield, Goodall, Rob Brown, Sadler and MArtyniuk.

Wade Belak? Yuck, that guy is terrible and cannot for the life of me understand why sucha useless player has taken up a roster spot for so many years.

But then again, this is the Leafs we are talkin about here.
