I couldn't make it tonight. Generals home opener, come from behind down 3-0 to win 5-3 over Ft. Sask. And Rebels won 6-3. So a good night. Yet no comments? Someone shed some light here.

Sounds fairly similar to the Rebels game. Clark got the start in goal. 2 seconds into the game Lynch (who was lined up as a forward to take the opening faceoff ;) ) and Kassian got into it. I don't think Kassian landed any, Lynch might have landed a weak one, and a second weak one to the back of his head after his jersey came up over his head. Not much of a fight, but showed that they wouldn't be intimidated by Kassian. Early in the game the Rebels got down 3-1 on some EXTREMELY bad calls by Herman. Just as it looked like Herman was about to load his stuff onto the Blazer's bus and head back to Kamloops, he stopped giving them two-man advantages for 6 minutes, and with the exception of some puzzling calls in the last 2 periods (both ways), was relatively quiet the rest of the game.

Moore got his first WHL goal, deflecting a perfect point shot by Cann. Sutter had a powerplay goal, and Starkov had 2, and Hanzal totally undressed White with a jaw-dropping move (who looked about 5 ft tall as he went past) and scored, and took a nice pass to go in alone and score on a breakaway.

Clark didn't really have any chance on the 3 he let in, 2 were point blank shots on the 2 man advantage, and Macias's shot hit the top corner, and almost came out the back of the net. He held the fort the rest of the way, and him and his goalposts held off a late Kamloops surge in the 3rd.
