and any idiot that defends these 2 are in a coma. there is a differance between letting the young team grow and become leaders and crushing their confidence. a good coach and gm could see the differance. but guess what we have neither . congrats neutral. good luck NEXT YEAR theTRUE call of a loser................... :thumb:

I will take some flak from you here , part of what you say is correct. However, I see the biggest mistake was in having the GM agree to a schedule that allows a team to play 9 games in 14 days. From a persepective in which you only have 24 players their is no way the body, mind or spirt can perform at that level .If it is to improve the bottom line or to create some room for the Scott Tournament of hearts or other concerts coming to the Sportslex it is wrong. This is a very poor management decison, especially for a team that is so young. The gamble has backfired and now it will take a long hard battle to get back. Lets not give up, the guys need all the support they can get .The real test of the coaches comes now, can they can get that spirit ,skill and motivation back with a few days at home. Time will tell, whether we once again wait till next year or not.

I'm with you grainbear. I think some people expected miracles from this team. And that's what it would take for anyone to come in here and in less than a year turn this team around and make it a contender. I say give them some time. I know it seems like we are in next year country already, but we are only 1 month in to a long season. My opinion is the guys are burned out, and need some rest. And yes, it will be a long, hard fight, but I still think this young team will come around, and finish the way they started.

Given your reference to me in this post and your private messages questioning my smiling face (not sure what that is in reference to from an earlier thread), it looks like we'll just have to agree to disagree. It was not my intention to alienate any fans, however when someone from the glass-is-half-full world debates with some one form the glass-is-half-empty world, it is best to end the debate. I'll move on to discussions supporting the players, coaches, and GM's from all teams in the WHL.

The team seems to be getting worse. Players are not being used properly (Farmanara on the PP, he's a career PK guy, Craige on the PK, he's a powerplay specialist, thats it), & very poor goaltending. Sounds like 3 rookie coaches making rookie mistakes. I said it before the canes play in the whl not the japanese mens league (4 on 4 hockey with no hitting). I don't care were the coaches are from. Oh yah, when D.King gets hammered last night why did he not steam roll someone later in the game??? Bigger hearts are needed (hint to #20).

what would you call a miracle? the idea of roy sending players like colton and micheal away then not seeming to care about filling that 20 spot is self-distructive and the results are starting to show, couple that with a coach that has NO experiance( not dycks fault) tells me 1 thing, there is a gm that has dropped the ball and time has nothing to do with it.

After reading your comments on this and other boards, I find I have to reply to the idiotic things you have to say!You say to sell the team to a city that can do something with them.Well that brings me back to the kjlagard \sutter connection.Incase you don't know kjlagard sold the broncos and rich sutter is his son in law.How many losing seasons do you think it would take for him to sell, his father in law sold after a winning season.I am a original shareholder and have been a season ticket holder since the first year of the broncos. The board has my votes on keeping the team in lethbridge! So you may stop going to games and maybe continue b#@&ing about it or shut the F&*k UP.Nothing is going to change . this team is young, they are going to have bumps along the road give them a chance to step up before you write them off after a rough schedule. :burningma
