disappointed to not see either Slade or Sexsmith in there and Timmy Kraus begs consideration as well - imo -
but good for JD, Spencer, Cody and Brendan as well as Don Hay
CHL announces Team WHL Roster for the ADT Canada Russia Challenge

CALGARY, AB The Canadian Hockey League today announced the roster of players for Team WHL who will compete in the 2006 ADT Canada Russia Challenge, November 29th and 30th in Chilliwack and Kamloops respectively. Willie Desjardins (Medicine Hat Tigers) will lead Team WHL as Head Coach. Don Hay (Vancouver Giants) and Curtis Hunt (Regina Pats) will serve as Assistant Coaches.

The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies will host the first game of the ADT Canada Russia Challenge on November 20. The second game will be hosted by the Val dOr Foreurs on November 21. The Sarnia Sting will host the first OHL-based game on November 23 followed by the Oshawa Generals on November 27. The series will conclude in the WHL with the Chilliwack Bruins hosting game 5 on November 29 and the Kamloops Blazers hosting the finale on November 30.
All six games will be broadcast nationally on Rogers Sportsnet and the two QMJHL-hosted games will be broadcast in Quebec on RDS.
The 2006 ADT Canada Russia Challenge is supported by CHL associate sponsors NAPA Auto Parts, Bank of Montreal, Boston Pizza, Reebok and Canoe.
