Got to see some of the Flyers game against Tampa Bay in Philly last night. Watched Grant closely. i think he did pretty good. Flubbed a solid pass, but he was working hard out there. They had him with Umberger and Eager. He finished one great check (the best of the first period). And had a run in with the boards when he miscalculated another (I call that "pulling a Hunt"). Definitely trying to fill his role in what was a non physical game.
It was great to see him play in the bigs. I was surprised that he got the call up so soon, for a guy who I thought would be spending a lot of his career in the AHL.
Hope he can keep digging in the corners and stay up for a while...
