Moir Named Player of the Month
NOV 8 - The Swift Current Broncos announced at their game against the Kootenay Ice on Tuesday night that veteran overaged goaltender Kyle Moir is the teams Rittinger's Men's Wear Player of the Month for the months of September and October.
Moir appeared in 11 games during that stretch and recorded some outstanding numbers that had him sitting amongst the top in most Western Hockey League goaltending categories. Moir recorded a .936 save percentage and a 2.28 goals against average in that stretch to go along with 2 shutouts, both of which were recorded on the road during the teams BC Division Swing.
Moir, the Broncos all time leader in numerous goaltending categories, has been the clubs Most Valuable Player in his last 2 seasons. He received a brand new suit courtesy of Rittinger's Men's Wear for his efforts as the Player of the Month for September and October. Rittinger's Men's Wear will be giving a new suit to the player of each month throughout the 2006/07 season.
