NIXON ADDED TO TEAM WHL CALGARY, AB / KAMLOOPS, BC – Blazer forward Brock Nixon got some good news on Monday morning when he learned he was added to Team WHL for the ADT CHL Canada-Russia Challenge and will play alongside Blazer teammate Keaton Ellerby on Thursday night at Interior Savings Centre. Nixon leads the Blazers with 18 goals and 31 points in 26 games. His 18 goals is tied for the third-highest total in the WHL this season. The 19-year-old Nixon, from Russell, MB, is playing in his 4th season in the Western Hockey League, all with the Blazers.
