Lethbridge, AB – The Hurricanes will look to continue their longest winning streak of the season against the visiting Regina Pats. Tonight’s game will be the fifth and final game of a home stand, in which the ‘Canes have yet to lose. It is the third of four meetings between the ‘Canes and Pats this season.
The teams have split the season series thus far with Lethbridge avenging an 11-3 loss in Regina, with a 5-2 win in the friendly confines of the Enmax Centre. That win was the first for streaking ‘Canes goaltender Michael Maniago, as a member of the red, white and silver. Last season, the ‘Canes were 2-2-0-1 versus the Pats. The Hurricanes have an all-time record of 51-55-4-0-1 (W-L-T-OTL-SOL) against Regina.
The Pats are in the midst of a central division road trip which has seen them lose to both Calgary and Red Deer in the past two nights. The Hurricanes are coming off a gritty 4-3 win on Friday, over the Central division leading Medicine Hat Tigers.
