The WHEAT KINGS will put their season high 8-game winning streak on the line Wednesday night against the visiting REGINA PATS at Winnipeg’s MTS Centre…BRANDON is coming off back to back wins on home ice over the weekend…ERIC FEHR scored twice and set up another on Saturday in a 6-1 victory over PRINCE ALBERT…On Sunday night, the WHEAT KINGS exploded for six unanswered third period goals to beat the MOOSE JAW WARRIORS 7-3. BRANDON scored three early third period goals – in a span of 1:23 – to wipe out a 3-1 second period deficit…TYLER STRAUTMAN, RYAN STONE, JAKUB SINDEL, LANCE MONYCH, TIM KONSORADA, MARK LOUIS and ERIC FEHR, with his league leading 46th goal of the season, scored for the winners on Sunday night as the WHEAT KINGS kept pace with SASKATOON atop the Western Hockey League’s Eastern Division…BRANDON also enjoys two games in hand on the BLADES, who have sitting atop the division since the opening weekend of the regular season…The WHEAT KINGS, who have scored 31 goals in their last five games, enter tonight’s game with a record of 34-19-5-1, good for 74 points…Winners of ten of their last eleven, the WHEATS are 20-7-1-1 at home…they’re 14-12-4 on the road…and 9-1-0 in their last ten games…BRANDON hosts REGINA again on Friday.
