Marek is playing in net for the Blues right now vs Chicago,no score yet 5 minutes into the first. :)

You got that right! That season I only saw a dozen games or so, but I had seats directly behind the net. That was how I gave him the nickname "The Adventure."

Anyway, I was listening to the St Louis game on NHL radio, and it sounded like he was playing a decent game, and I thought maybe he'd turned his game around. Then three quick goals, and on one the announcer said Schwarz got "too far extended," so it sounds like good old Marek.

Actually, its a shame he's with the Blues, because I'd like to enjoy the success of a former Giant, even if his style of play gives me the heebie jeebies. But as long as he's with the Blues :evil:, I'll hope the worst for him ;) .

Maybe its the fact that he is wearing 3 different brands of goalie equipment and a glove that doesnt match the color scheme :D

Maybe it's cause he is missing his girlfriend again and saw a hottie in the front row that looks like her in the 3rd and couldn't focus on the game.

People can say what they will about Slade leaving. Lamest excuse ever is workload, being away from home and missing my GF.
