No surprise here. Disappointing that he was sent down to the ECHL, but he's getting the ice time he deserves there, as apposed to splitting time on the third line and being a healthy scratch in Houston. Hindsight... perhaps a good move for his development on the part of the Wild...

sweet -- maybe it'll facilitate him being called back up sooner, and get to the NHL in a couple of years or sooner.

Congrats Paul -- punk rock

Albers rocks the all star game with 2 Assists, one to set up his forwards to put it past Dubnyk, and the other to pass it up for a shot on the Empty net to take his team to a 6-3 victory.
He also finished the game with a game best +4.
3rd Hardest shot the day before at 93.9 mph.

In their regular season he's 5th in scoring defensemen with a 9 and 17 for 26 P. Which puts him 10th among all Rookies...Troy Bodie is 4th, Tyler Spurgeon is 12th.
He'll be up in the A or the N next year for sure...

Mark Ardelan is also digging hard in the corners standing at 16th for scoring defensemen in the AHL. He's 5 and 16 foor 21 P in 40 games.
Could see him playing for Dallas sometime soon?
Fistric is no slouch for the Stars either with 1 and 9 for 10 pts in 41 games. A -2 in his rookie year...

And another rockin' Giant Defenseman...Meszaros is 6 and 19 for 25 in 48 games with a -9...( a far cry from finishing last year with over +30)

Courchaine is still Lighting the Lamp in Austria...
with Almost 3 Points per game...
in 24 games he's 35 and 35 for 70 pts....
