Winterhawks acquire Boes from Hurricanes

The Portland Winterhawks have acquired veteran goaltender Corbin Boes from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for forward Steven Alldridge, the rights to Shane McColgan and a second round pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

“Corbin is a veteran goaltender whose experience will be a big asset to us as we enter the second half of the season,” said Portland Winterhawks General Manager & Head Coach Mike Johnston. “He’s proven to be a very good goaltender in the WHL and we look forward to adding him to our lineup.”
