Versteeg now a Leaf!!

Kris Versteeg's career with the Chicago BlackHawks came to an end today as he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Vancouver Canucks had tried to get him during the NHL draft and apparently their was interest from Dale Tallon GM in Florida.

The former Lethbridge Hurricane scored 20+ goals this season and had 14 points in the playoffs. He should fit in well with the Buds as Burke likes the fact Kris is a bit of a pest who can score. He also plays a good two way game as he showed during the run to the CUP!
