Game 26-Edmonton 3 at Hitmen 1

The two teams met for the 3rd in less than a week and once again the Hitmen fail to pick up points. It was a tie game heading to the third where the Hitmen took 3 penalties, including 2 44 seconds apart giving the Oil Kings a 5 on 3 power play. Edmonton wasted little time with the 2 man advantage scoring 29 seconds into the 2 man advantage.

The Hitmen cannot play for 60 minutes consistently. They can stay in games for 40 or 50 minutes but are just not mentally tough enough right now.
