Seventh-seeded Victoria and second-seeded Kamloops to clash in opening round beginning on Friday!

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals will meet the Kamloops Blazers in the first round of the WHL Playoffs in a best-of-seven series beginning on Friday, March 23rd.

Everett’s 6-4 win over Seattle this evening secured the Royals hold on seventh place in the Western Conference standings, and set up the match-up against Blazers. This will be the first ever playoff meeting between these two franchises.

Victoria and Kamloops met eight times during the regular season. The Royals finished with a record of 1-6-1-0 versus their BC Division opponent.
