it is now 4 to 4 going into the second intermtion, hope for a strong 3rd period. Holik says that the large olympic ice surface with no red lines is good to watch as it really aids in the offensive room for speed and passing.

Canes win 6-5 in the last 5 seconds off a reflection of our Greenan's stick. Disapointing to lose with only 5 seconds remaining, but oh well. the boys sound great out there. Busto had a good game with many opps. Kooteany Ice take the shootout 2 to 1 after 9 players shooting each after the first three solved nothing.
so Ice 6-5 yesterday and the Canes 6- 5 today, Ice win both shootouts
Listening to the post game show the organizers of these games would like to make it an anual event with the Ice and Huricanes if they are willing. If not I think they will aproach other teams and try to entice them to come up north for a couple pre season games. I think its a great idea and will create a quick bond with the new players on the team hopefully creating early chemistry.
Did anyone notice who sat out in the second game?
