Blazers acquire Revel from Blades

The Kamloops Blazers have made a trade acquiring 17-year-old forward Matt Revel, a third round draft pick in 2016 and a conditional second round draft pick in exchange for 17-year-old forward Mitch Lipon, the rights to 17-year-old defenceman Jordan Thomson and a first round draft pick in 2015.

“Matt is a young and talented player that is going to be an important part of this hockey club over the next few seasons,” commented General Manager, Craig Bonner. “He has a tremendous skill set and is an elite skater. We believe he can step right in and contribute immediately.”
