Wow, I didn't think that he was hurt that bad from Brandons Erb cruching him. I guess his Jaw is broken and will be out for a month or more. From what I seen it looked like a clean hit, maybe a bit of an elbow, but it was about 6 feet from the boards, and Konecny went flying into them hard.

He has had a hard time this year from hits. I think he will need to beef up a bit if he is going to be able to stay healthy in the WHL. His last injury was along the same lines of a take out, and it was his shoulder from an akward fall.

that sucks. he just came back from an injury about a month ago if i remembered properly. He really needs to gain some weight in the off season because he needs some more muscle because he hasn't had his luck with hits. Visnak takes more abuse then Konecny but hopefully when he comes back he can put up some big numbers. nhl3
