Just added some totals up and the canes are 16-6-1-2 since the start of november...which is .700 hockey, in the last 2.5 months.

18 of those 25 games were at home
2-4-0-1 on the road
14-2-1-1 at home

Those are some pretty decent numbers to say the least. Awesome at home, but struggled earlier on the road.

After this 7 game homestand they have a 6 game road trip, 2 games at home, then an 11 game road swing. Thats 17 out of 19 games on the road.
You'll have to wait one day short of a month to watch canes hockey at home during that 11 game trip. That would drive me nuts

How do you think they'll do trying to catch up on that last playoff spot?

To me they look poised to do a little better, but even during the last 2.5 months their road record wasn't that great?

If they win the games they're supposed to win, they'll be fine. First they need to taste some success on the road. If that happens, they'll pass Red Deer and Calgary. If not, it could be lights out very soon.
