    Pushkarev adjusts to new life

    By SCOTT FISHER, CALGARY SUN

As they do after every home game, the Calgary Hitmen shed their equipment, walk down the hall to the Flames dressing room and ride the stationary bikes for 15 minutes. Veteran centre Shaun Landolt strolls out of the exercise room, clearly searching for something, or as it turns out, someone.

Peering down the hallway, Landolt sees him.

    "Pushy!" he hollers. "C'mon!"

Rookie import Konstantin Pushkarev -- or simply 'Pushy' to his teammates -- hurries to join the workout, trying in vain to explain his tardiness.

It's a familiar scene at the 'Dome. If you see Pushkarev, Landolt won't be too far away.

One thing is at least someone is starting to get him out into the limelight. I bet he's shy being in a new country and all, but the more he gets exposure to the country, the continent, and the people around him, he'll be better off for it.

He had a good move tonight, between the legs. To bad the shot was high.
