Default NHL replacement players good or bad for WHL players

Whats your opinion on replacement players in the NHL next season. If it hapens there would be a good chance for a lot of undrafted players with no pro contracts to fill the void left by the NHL stars. This could be the big break for a lot of otherwise unwanted players to get there chance but if the strike ends then what? would these players be shuned from the NHLPA and Owners never to be seen again, Or could they go forward after the fact and continue there pro careers and work with the "stars" of the league.

my guess......half the current players will cross as they will make the same or more under a new system. it the high end guys that willl lose. Now, that said, will fans return........only if there is a coresponding drop in ticket prices.
