    Default Memorial Cup teams

There is a good possibility of two of the 4 teams being American this year...
What do you think, good or bad for the league/ Memorial Cup?
I don't think it will affect attendance too much, it is selling so well already...
Would have been nice to see Kane and Gagner if London had made it...
And maybe Marchand and Letang if Val D'Or can pull it off...
Don't know much about Lewiston or Plymouth...

Sudbury has a couple Staals playing there and Dan Ryder plays for Plymouth, remember he was with Peterborough last year.

Val d'Or hosts Cape Breton tonight for game 6. If the Eagles win they are meeting Lewiston in the final. If not, game 7 goes tomorrow again in Val d'Or.

I don't know who I would want to see come to the cup. I have mixed feelings still about Luc "Dirty Spear" Bourdon.

    Val d'Or takes it 4-2.

So for my guess as to who is coming to the Memorial Cup:

    Lewiston for the Q
    Plymouth for the OHL

I too and going to guess the Americans will see us in Vancouver.
The Dub vs.the Eastern seaboard...I like it...
I wonder if they'll play Brass Bonanza at the coliseum whenever Plymouth scores.

Anyone interesting in a sneek peak at Val D'Or or Lewiston...all games are webcast live on Telus for free.

Watch a Lewiston game (if there is another one, they're up 2-0 now)...They love turning off the lights and whipping the Spotlights around whenever they score...lively small crowd, they were really loud.

Ya, OK, so Plymouth isn't exactly on the Seaboard, but I'd have to argue that it is moreso on the seaboard, than Brandon is in The "Western" Hockey League....=)

David Perron will be someone to watch. He is a projected 1st round pick in the upcoming NHL draft projected to go at #15 overall. He scored both Lewiston goals last night. Goals #11 & 12 in the playoffs.

And Marc-André Cliche had an assist on both goals. Because he gives 110%, believes your best players have to be your best players this time of year, and just takes things 1 game at a time
