    OIL KINGS TRIM ROSTER
The Edmonton Oil Kings are one step closer to their final roster. General Manager Bob Green, Assistant GM Randy Hansch and his staff had some tough decisions to make after 5 long days of rookie camp and main camp. That being said, there's still a long way to go for the remaining 34 players in camp. The following is a list of players that are still alive, and still have a shot at making the first ever roster in the new era of Edmonton Oil Kings hockey:

    Brent Raedeke (90)
    Scott Skrudland (88)
    JP Szaszkewicz (88)
    Thomas Vincour (90)

The rest of these players will begin a rigourous practice schedule for the remainder of the week to get ready for the upcoming Edmonton Oil Kings Inaugural Pre-Season Tournament. The home team will host Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George, Swift Current and Regina in a series of exhibition games at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert from September 1st - 3rd.
