The press release today shows the 2 D-men still at their NHL camps and makes no mention of Stoesz. Are they saving a 20 yo spot for Myles or a trade? because we need some body to score goals besides Ofukany & Eberle

Stoez is either AHL or ECHL bound. Most likely in gwinnett next season.

If myles comes back, its still great. He was a great team guy, and good fighter. Once we acquired him, he seems to tie the team together. Stood up for players, block shots, even scored a couple goals. I think he is more valuable than you would think.

More scoring wouldnt hurt though. A guy like Kraus, or Vey would only help if Stoesz cant come back. Maybe another good 18 year old forward. Maybe even Campos from everett. I hear he has talent, but needs a new environment.

Still, I think are our offence is fine. We shouldnt have trouble scoring goals this year. Eberle and Macangus have great chemistry, Ofukany should have a career year, as should salty. Leffler will continue to get better. Unknowns like Gross and Strueby might surprise alot of people, and who knows what this new euro is capable of.

If we can get under achieving 19 year olds going(lind, hill, reich, elder, Jagow), we should be set for a cup run.

And dont forget our offensive blueline.

Atlanta has on their web site that Myles has been reassigned to their AHL affiliate - Chicago Wolves of the AHL - Sept 19

The Pats have yet to receive news on enforcer Myles Stoesz, whom the Atlanta Thrashers have assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. Since he’s under contract, Stoesz could remain in Chicago this season.
Stoesz is the only question mark remaining for the Pats, who finalized their roster on Wednesday by assigning D Matt MacDermott to the BCHL’s Alberni Valley Bulldogs. That leaves Regina with 24 players — two goalies, eight D-men and 14 forwards.
