    Chubb, Christopher Neil

    August 21, 1980 - November 4, 2007

It is with great sorrow in our hearts we say farewell to Chris, who passed away tragically at the age of 27.

Chris will be remembered as being a big kid, with an even bigger heart. Chris loved sports, and was always ready for a games night with family or friends. He had an infectious personality, and was always there to lend a hand or just to make you laugh.

Chris is lovingly remembered by his parents Bill and Donna of Bon Accord, siblings Tim, Billie-Dawn (Dave) McDonald, Clay (Sherri Large), nephew Bryden and Grandmother Jean Chubb, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Chris' Life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or to STARS.

as far as I was told it was a car accident that took his life. Its so sad when things like these happen, a total loss for words for the fammily and friends I'm sure. I just lost a best friend in August so I can simpathize how they must all feel.

Default Here Is The News Story

Bon Accord man killed in collision

    The Edmonton Journal
    Published: Tuesday, November 06
EDMONTON -- Snow and ice are being blamed for a two-vehicle collision near Villeneuve that killed a Bon Accord man early Sunday morning.

Christopher Neil Chubb, 27, was behind the wheel of a northbound SUV on Highway 44 when the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Morinville RCMP believe Chubb's vehicle crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a semi-trailer.

Chubb was declared dead at the scene.

The other driver was treated for minor injuries in hospital and released.

Road conditions were poor at the time of the crash because of snow and ice. Investigators believe the weather was a factor in the collision.

    Alcohol was not a factor.

Villeneuve is about 15 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.

Sad news indeed. Heart goes out to the family.

I'm only 1 year older than he is. Really makes you think about life.
