If Thompson just wants a scape goat and thinks Cyr can be that, get rid of him.

I think Thompson put all of his eggs into Cyr's basket at the end of last season. You don't know how incredibly loyal this kid has been to the PG Cougars. Hind site being 20/20, Real should have maybe looked for a trade to a contending team for this year knowing that things weren't going to be too rosey in PG. But, it's not how he operates, he has remained loyal to the team that gave him his shot in the WHL . With that being said, I think I'd literally be sick if Thompson "got rid of him".

I don't think Thompson will be making any rash decisions while the team is battling injuries and are fatigued. But thanks for the interest.
