    Default A long overdue thank you...

    My wife & I followed the Everett Silvertips during their recent Central Division road trip, and I just want to thank the Edmonton Oil Kings fans and citizens for their hospitality during our visit. It was our first time ever in Edmonton; we used your expansion franchise (playing our favorite WHL team) as an excuse to drive up (14-15 hours) to your beautiful city. The fans were great during the game. We encountered one RCMP who asked where "Everett, B.C." was, because he was shocked to see so many (200+) of our fans at the game, but then he became even more shocked to learn that Everett is actually in Washington State... lol... good times. If any Oil Kings fans come down to Everett next season, just let me know and we'll set up a pre-game get-together.

    wouldn't he notice that Everett was in America when they sang the national anthems?
