    Player Absences
Best as I can tell, these are the current roster players which WHL clubs will be losing to World Junior camps, World Junior tournament itself (both A-pool and B-pool) and World U-17 Challenge, with the dates that they are expected to be away. Players merely attending their country's WJC tryout camp at this point will only say "camp" until they are actually confirmed on their teams.

This is up-to-date as far as I know. Any oversights or errors, corrections are welcome.

There are sure to be a few other European WHLers invited yet....Arnaud Jacquemet (Kootenay/Switzerland), Luca Sbisa (Lethbridge/Switzerland), Max Brandl (Prince Albert/Germany), Riku Helenius (Seattle/Finland), and Vitaly Karamnov (Everett/Russia) are just a few of the ones whom I'd expect would at least get invited to try out for their country's teams.

Couple others like Tomas Vincour (Edmonton/Czech Republic) and Jyri Niemi (Saskatoon/Finland) are worth watching for, but they are both 17 and from traditionally strong hockey countries which may opt for older players. As opposed to the 17 year old Sbisa, for example, who is from a weaker country like Switzerland which may not have the luxury of being able to choose older, better players.

Probably will be missing Luca Sbisa and maybe Juha Metsola to World Jr's. That could be 5 guys for us. Ouch. We play the Ice like 3 times and they don't appear to be losing to many guys.
