    WHL prospects on Macs rosters

The WHL prospects playing in this year's Macs Midget tournament after Christmas....players are listed by midget team, with WHL affiliation and how the WHL club acquired them. First-round bantam picks in red.

The team lineup & schedule was announced this morning and can be seen on their website. I notice the total lack of non-Prairie teams this year.....only the Russian team, Severstal. No other European teams, no American teams, no Eastern Canadian teams. Just teams from B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Good news for WHL fans though as it increases the number of WHL prospects in the tournament.

Kyle Janzen and Cody Michelle aren't on the Mintos roster. Michelle plays for the PA Lightway Electric Thunder Midget AA and Janzen plays for the Battleford Stars.

I'am a little surprised Beardy's made the Mac's tourny. Thanks for providing this list for us.

I'm really surprised at the lack of international teams this year. Thats what makes this tourny so popular. To bad U.S. and European teams are not attending.

Yeah usually the Los Angeles Jr. Kings, Swiss National, Sweden and Denmark usually attend as well as other US teams.

I got the rosters off the SMHL site, where they are shown to have played a few games for the Mintos this year. They may not be full-time members of the team but I don't mind including them on my lists since teams often bring along an affiliate player or two when going to long tournaments like the Macs. Seven games in seven days is bound to produce some bumps and bruises so it never hurts to have an extra body or two.

Granted, Janzen probably won't be with the Mintos if he plays for Battlefords now.

As for the question about Bourgouis, yes, he is Moose Jaw property. I made a mistake when compiling Leduc's roster.
