Default 3 games in 3 nights

The Tigers will have a tough schedule from here on out. During 3 of the next 4 weeks, (including this one)they will play 3 games in 3 nights, with one of those weeks a 5 games in 6 nights stretch, with little rest in between.

Every game from here on out is against their own conference, which means almost every game will be considered a 4 point game.

It is time to see what the tigers are made of. haha

Tri-City 5 at Medicine Hat 4 Final OT

Man O man were their a TON of scouts at tonights game. I must have seen at least 15-20 of them on just one side of the arena.

It's too bad for Mark Isherwood cause tonight he had his worst game as a tiger. He was fighting the puck all night, took a really dumb penalty in the second. He coughed up the puck to give tri-city a 3on1 in overtime, which they scored on; definitely had an off night.

Overall a disappointing finish. The tigers played a good game but took some untimely penalties, a couple mistakes, and well.... disappointing reffing.

I thought both goalies had tough games. They didn't play horrible but they could have played much better on both sides.

It was a pretty even game, both teams at some point took firm control of the play. One play specifically in the third period had the entire arena enraged at the referee McLean.

The fans were already a bit irked because of 2 non-calls, which could have very well have been penalties......then giving Tri-city a 5on3 with 2 questionable/borderline calls worked the fans into a frenzy...and the We Want A Ref Chant filled the building. BEing a ref is a tough job, but that one horrible call(the first tiger penalty)really magnified itself tenfold when the tigers took another penalty less than a minute later.

Colton Yellowhorn then made the tigers pay, and tied the game with 2 perfect shots on the powerplay, completing his Hat-Trick. Tri-City kept the momentum into overtime, and capitalized on a Defensive miscue to win the game.

Its too bad we only play Tri-City once a year because it was a fun game to watch.

Bretton Cameron, Micheal Ahlen, Mathew Konan,Jerrid Sauer stood out for me, I thought they had good games.

    Bendfeld,Farmanara,Isherwood had poor games

    Kootenay 3 Tigers 2

Another tough game for the tigers. They played well enough to win. It was a close game, but I thought goaltending, and a couple mistakes, shot themselves in the foot tonight. Vosvrada let in 2 goals of the weaker variety. A disallowed goal didn't help things either. THey had a bundle of chances just miss the net.

1 point out of 4, is tough luck, considering both games were theirs for the taking.

THere were quite a few fans that were really Ticked off at the guy. I mean I don't think even savage has had that kind of hate flowing toward him. vci34

I haven't heard anything about the tire slashing it in the hat, usually those types of rumors spread like wildflowers here.

    3rd game

    Tigers 3 Red Deer 0

Glad to see the boys get a road win. Looking at the shots it appears the tigers really peppered Red Deer throwing 47 shots on net. Reimer must have played a really good game.

No, the hockey fans of Medicine Hat didn’t flatten the tires on a vehicle belonging to referee Cory McLean following the Tigers’ 5-4 circus loss to the visiting Tri-City Americans on Friday. However, McLean did leave the arena to find a flat tire on his vehicle – that would be ONE flat tire – and he and the linesmen changed it. Gotta wonder why the Americans didn’t get off their bus and help out. Might have been worth a call or two down the road, eh? . .

I think the officials like the Americans a lot, Zalaski's effort to get them a win down here was down right embarassing. 3 five on three's in the first period, and 9 penalties including a major and game misconduct to Boychuk, versus none to Tri-city. Fortunately, we killed them all and gogt a win, but it was the worst officiating I have seen all year.
