I just noticed that Seattle Thunderbirds outshot Portland 72 - 22. That's outrageous!
Portlands goalie must have stood on his head as he only let in 4!
Yikes.

Even more amazing: Their backup Jordan White was in net, not Mucha the #1 minder.Originally Posted by Priceisright
72 shots thats ridiculous. i mean the ams almost put up 50 against PA and thats a ton of shots but 72 is just insane. i'm guessing most of them werent quality shots. either way that'll help the save %.
look at the box score seattle didnt score until less than 10 minutes left in the 3rd. white had a shutout going for most of the game(at least 50 saves before a goal) definitely would have been a performance to see

He only let in 3 the third one was an empty net goal then they scored one on him in the last minute after the empty net goalOriginally Posted by Priceisright
Too bad they scored at all...how amazing would it have been to get a 71 save shutout?
Yea a shutout would have been amazing but it seems that they have a great up and comming goaltender! That is something they can build on because they need anything that they can get at this point! Also they almost beat Vancouver last night! It was 3-2
