Default W'kings look to regain form..

The Brandon Wheat Kings will be hoping to regain
their form tonight when they face off against the hometown Warriors in
game four of their best of seven Western Hockey League opening round
    playoff series.

After dominating the first two games of the series on home ice,
outscoring the Warriors 12-4 in the process, Brandon was manhandled by the
Warriors in game three on Wednesday. Outshot 47-28, including 20-7 in the
third period, the Wheat Kings spent most of the night in the penalty
box and to make matters worse, a short bench as several members of the
Eastern Division Champions were ejected including 30-goal scorer Lance
    Monych and defenceman Steven Later.

The second highest scoring defenceman in the WHL this past season,
Later served 38 penalty minutes on Wednesday and was tossed out of the game
early in the third period after the Warriors had scored their third
goal in what turned out to be a 4-1 final.

Another key tonight will be the play of the two club's special teams.
After scoring six powerplay goals in the first two wins, the Wheat Kings
were 0-4 in game three as the Warriors did an excellent job of shutting
down Brandon's league leading powerplay. The Warriors meanwhile
connected twice with the man advantage.

The Wheat Kings will also be looking for better performances from their
top two players - right-winger Eric Fehr and center Ryan Stone. The two
Eastern Conference First Team All Stars were held off the scoresheet on
Wednesday, after combining for 12 points - three goals and nine asissts
    - during the first two games of this series.

After facing just 40 shots during the first two games, rookie netminder
Tyler Plante was kept busy in game three - turning aside 43 Moose Jaw
shots including 35 during the final forty minutes of play. Wednesday's
loss spoiled what had been a perfect year for the ex-midget AAA Wheat
King against the Warriors. Before losing on Wednesday, the 17-year old
local product had compiled an 8-0 record with a sparkling 1.63 goals
    against average.

A bright spot for the Wheat Kings on Wednesday was 17-year old
right-winger Ryan Reaves. The son of former Canadian Football League all star
Willard Reaves of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, scored his second goal in
as many playoff games and rang another shot off the goal post when the
    game was tied at one.

They will be motivated to play smart hockey tonight.Things got out of hand and if Brandon sticks to hockey, they can be unbeatable, but when their emotions get the best of them, thats how they get beat.

Thats accually what i said the other day if Brandon stick to hockey they will be hard to beat. If you get there team frustrated it seems like they have a couple very emotional players and start to take stupid pentalies.
